Moody 19th Century Oil Seascape on Windor & Newton Board children red and blue--are saturated andI would bet if one cleaned this old painting, c. 1880s or so, it would brighten up a bit, but part of what I really love about it is how dark and moody it feels ideal for viewing by candlelight! At 13" inches across it is not large, but it has a big aura, and is the sort of painting I'd want to design a whole room around in my dreams a library or study with lots of old wood and leather and a view of the sea!
