Wonderful Early Folk Art Sawing Man Whirligig, Working! for the windowsill This sweet one I mightThis is actually the very first whirligig I have ever bought (aside from a few figures salvaged from broken ones) I often look at them, but they often seem more awkward and cumbersome than I want to deal with but not this one, which I find really very elegant and just right in every possible way. Photos really do it no justice; the beauties of the old paint are subtle, the white doesn't come across well in images, and it has a terrific humble delicacy
